Star ruby Pectoral pendant

This piece was inspired by a pectoral pendant fron the 1850’s that was owned by Chief Red Cloud . The main body of the pendant is nickel silver( not sterling silver) and its shape represents a cloud. There is a four petal flower engraved on the front which represents the four directions. Dangling from the centre of the pendant is a star ruby stone set in sterling silver and on each side there are sterling silver crescent moons.
